General
- How do I add to the GIF?
- In the tools menu select the element that you can like to add. Click on the preview where you want to add it and simply drag until it is the right size. If you wish to add a video or image, drag and drop the file anywhere in the window, and click the relevant "Add" button in the media pane.
- What does the FPS setting affect?
- The FPS setting is used to determine which frames to show in videos and animations.
Video
- How do you add a video?
- You can either drag and drop the video file anywhere on the page, or you can use the file selector in the Media tab. Once you have opened you video it will be listed in the Media tab. Simply click the Add button for a video you wish to add.
- How do I select which part of a video to play?
- You can either manually set the start and end times in the timeline menu, or use the timeline at the bottom to go to the start and end frames, then click "Set Start" or "Set End" in the timeline menu to trim the clip.
- How do I add a freeze frame?
- In the timeline for the video, click the + button to add a new segment, then switch it over to to the pause tab. Here you can see the time of the frame to show, and how long to show it for.
- Which filters can I apply to my video?

If you want to clean up a video, or censor part of it there are some built in filters that you can use. To add one of these, select the relevant video, go to the filters menu and then click add with the relevant filter selected.
- Blur - to obscure unwanted parts.
- Grayscale - remove all of the colour from an image.
- Pixellate - another way to obscure parts of the image.
- Sepia - gives a vintage feel.
- Saturation - for when the image is too dark.
- Sharpen - clean up blurry images.
Many of these can by applied to only part of the image by using the "Set Region" option in the filters menu.
Drawing
- How do I add a drawing?
- Select the pen tool in the tools menu, and click anywhere on the preview to draw a line.
- How can I erase?
- In the brush menu in the bottom right corner, set the mode to erase and then draw as you would normally. When you are finished, set the mode back to fill.
- How do I change an existing drawing?
- Select the drawing by clicking on it in the timeline, and then double click on the component in the preview.
Text
- How do I alter some text?
- Select the text and enter editing mode by double clicking on it. To finish editing simply click outside of the element.
- How do I change the font?
- In the left hand menu, select the style tab. From here you can set the font, change the size, and enable bold, italic and underline.
Animation
To add an animation to an element select it, then go to the animations tab in the settings panel. Here you can add a new animation or change the values of an existing one.
